RMD Group was formed by three partners who had a passion for the Hospitality Industry. Sure, running restaurants, bars, and nightclubs is fun, but doing it well takes a lot of trial and error. In an industry with competition around every corner, experience and expertise matter. In the words of Jon Taffer: to be successful, “you’ve got to be the smartest guy in the room”. We believe that in order to have a thriving business, you have to be the best at what you do. So, RMD Group was born. We built a team of Industry experts to run our businesses and to help other business owners find success in theirs.

We recognize that a huge part of our success comes from the strength of our community, which is why it’s essential to consistently give back. We are proud to have an ongoing corporate partnership with the The Big Josh Foundation. This organization is near and dear to our hearts as they support those in the Hospitality Industry and have roots right here in San Diego. They focus on giving financial and counseling support to people diagnosed as terminally ill. Their goal is to allow patients to focus on two things: fighting their illness and spending as much time with loved ones as possible.
Every RMD employee is encouraged to support The Big Josh Foundation by making monthly contributions to the cause. In turn, RMD matches each donation, doubling the impact. This is our way of giving back to the community that has supported us throughout the years.
